Legislative Update and Survey Results

Friday, April 17, 2015

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Here is an update from St. Paul.

Transportation Omnibus Bill Scheduled

The House Rules Committee calendared the omnibus Transportation bill for next Tuesday when it is planned to be taken up, debated and passed off the House Floor. Not only does this bill provide substantial funding for our roads and bridges without raising the gas tax or metro area sales tax, but it also includes my provision which funds a safety study at the 694/494/94 interchange in Woodbury.

Improving our state's infrastructure is one of my top legislative priorities, and I will continue to work to fund road and bridge improvements in our community.
