Dear friends and neighbors,
Yesterday was a great day for the Range.
A crowd more than 2,000 Minnesotans strong gathered outside the Miners Memorial Building for the Save Our Steel Jobs rally. I am beyond proud of everyone who helped make the event such a huge success and grateful for everyone who either attended or was with us in spirit.
Our message for the politicians in Washington, D.C. was loud and clear: End the dumping of cheap foreign steel that threatens our jobs and our livelihoods.
All of us depend on the steel made with the taconite mined in northern Minnesota’s red hills. And yesterday’s rally made clear we are more united than ever in our fight for good jobs that make it possible for folks to provide for themselves and their families.
