ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Dayton signed the medical cannabis bill into law.
State Representative Carly Melin (DFL – Hibbing), chief House author, released the following statement:
“Today, Minnesota joins 21 other states in providing safe, legal access to medical cannabis for patients who suffer from debilitating medical conditions. Relief for children and adults will now become reality. I want to thank Governor Dayton, Senate author Scott Dibble, and my colleagues from both sides of the aisle for helping this bill become law. Most of all, I'd like to thank the courageous patients, parents and families who spent countless hours at the capitol advocating for their loved ones. This bill would not have become law without them.”
