St. Paul, Minnesota – On Wednesday, May 21st, Rep. Paul Marquart, Chair of the House Education Finance Committee, will join local Representative Shannon Savick for a visit to Alden Conger Schools to meet with students and teachers involved with both the Super Mileage Team and the FIRST Robotic Team.
“The work that these two teams do is just amazing,” said Savick. “The experience these students are getting in the science and technology areas is incredibly valuable and a lot of credit needs to go the outstanding teachers who help make these teams such a great success. I invited Chair Marquart to travel all the way down to our area because the goal of our new education investments is to create the world’s best workforce. Thanks to teachers and students like these, I think we are well on our way.”
