St. Paul, Minnesota — Yesterday, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed HF 2480, a bill increasing state funding for school lunches on a unanimous vote. State Representative Tim Faust (DFL – Hinckley) issued the following statement.
“For some kids in our area, this is a real issue. It’s very hard for students to learn if they are sitting in their classroom starving. I’m happy to see us provide state support to make sure students get a healthy and hearty meal at school.”
