HOWE TAKES HOUSE OATH

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

ST. PAUL – Rockville Republican Jeff Howe took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday during the Class of 2015’s swearing-in process at the Capitol.

Howe was re-elected in November to represent District 13A, which runs west and south of St. Cloud. The district includes St. Joseph and Avon to the north, covers west to Paynesville and stretches south of Kimball.

“I was honored to be joined by my wife, Sheri, as I took the oath of office for a second time,” Howe said. “It is humbling to serve in the House and I continue doing my best to represent the citizens of District 13A by giving them a voice in St. Paul.”

Constituent outreach remains a primary focus of his public service, Howe said. He welcomes constituents to call his legislative office at (651) 296-4373 or email rep.jeff.howe@house.mn to provide input or set up an appointment.

Howe is serving on Transportation Policy & Finance; Capital Investment; State Government Finance; and Public Safety committees this biennium.

“My door is always open,” Howe said. “The feedback I receive from people in District 13A helps me stay on the pulse of our area and helps me focus on what is impacting our area.”
