REP. RARICK SWORN IN AS REPRESENTATIVE IN MINNESOTA HOUSE

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

St. Paul – State Representative Jason Rarick (R-Pine City) began his first term in office Tuesday, as he was sworn in as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives in a ceremony at the State Capitol in St. Paul.

“Being sworn in as a state representative is an unbelievable experience,” Rarick said. “It is an honor to serve the people of District 11B, and I look forward to representing their interests at the State Capitol.”

The top priority for Rarick and all Minnesota lawmakers this session will be crafting the state budget for the next two years. In addition there will also be many policy issues for the legislature to address before lawmakers adjourn in mid-May.

Rep. Rarick said he was also pleased with his Minnesota House committee assignments. For the next two years, Rarick will serve on the Agriculture Policy, Capital Investment, Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance committees.
