CINDY PUGH SWORN IN TO SECOND TERM AS STATE REPRESENTATIVE

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Cindy Pugh (R-Chanhassen) was officially sworn in to her second term as a state representative on Tuesday, January 6, after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. Pugh will continue to represent House District 33B – encompassing the cities of Mound, Spring Park, Minnetonka Beach, Tonka Bay, Excelsior, Greenwood and parts of Deephaven, Shorewood and Chanhassen – at the Capitol in St. Paul.

“I am thankful to the hardworking residents of District 33B for placing their trust in me as I serve a second term as State Representative,” said Pugh, “and I am honored to have the ability to represent their interests in the new Republican majority.”

Pugh will serve on the Higher Education Policy & Finance, State Government Finance, Veterans Affairs Division and Government Operations & Elections Policy committees, where she will serve as Vice Chair.
