ST. PAUL—State Rep. Bob Barrett (R-Lindstrom) was officially sworn in as a state representative on Tuesday, January 6, in St. Paul after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea.
“Representing the people and families of District 32B is a privilege, and I look forward to working on their behalf for the next two years,” said Barrett. “With a Republican-led majority in the House, I know we will pass legislation that strengthens our education system, reduces the burden on taxpayers, improves our economy and benefits the families of Minnesota.”
Barrett’s committee assignments include Vice Chair of Taxes, Greater Minnesota Economic and Workforce Development Policy, and Higher Education Policy and Finance.
Barrett, serving his third term in the Minnesota House of Representatives, represents District 32B which includes Chisago City, Lindstrom, North Branch, Wyoming, Taylor Falls and Stacy.
