ST. PAUL – House Speaker-designate Kurt Daudt (R-Crown) announced today that Representative Cindy Pugh (R-Chanhassen) will serve as the Vice Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee for the 2015 and 2016 legislative sessions.
“I’m honored to be given this opportunity to have a hand crafting legislation relating to pensions, retirement, state agencies, as well as oversight and reforms of our elections system,” said Pugh.
Pugh will be sworn in for her second term representing House District 33B on January 6, 2015 when the 2015 Legislative Session begins. District 33B consists of Chanhassen, Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Minnetonka Beach, Mound, Orono, Shorewood, Spring Park, and Tonka Bay.
