Happy Thanksgiving

Tuesday, November 25, 2014

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Now that the election is behind us, I am able to resume legislative email updates. Thanks to everyone for their support and words of encouragement over the past few weeks; I'm humbled and grateful to return to the legislature for a second term, and am excited to roll up my sleeves as a member of the new House Majority and continue working hard on your behalf.

Please don't hesitate to contact my office at 651-296-4306 or rep.anna.wills@house.mn if I can be of assistance. I am here to serve you, and am looking forward to doing so for the next two years. I welcome your suggestions and ideas for how I can best serve you in the upcoming legislative session.

In the coming weeks, committee assignments will be handed out, and I will be sure to update you on which committees I'll be serving on in the 2015-2016 legislature.

Over the next two years, the House will be focused on the priorities shared by Minnesota families across the state. We'll strive to improve our education system for Minnesota students, improve our transportation infrastructure by putting the focus on roads and bridges, improve quality of care for seniors, and make sure that government respects your tax dollars, rather than wasting them. I will continue building on work from my first term, addressing issues like reducing veteran unemployment and securing bonding funding for Dakota County Technical College.

I want to wish you and your family a warm and joy-filled Thanksgiving. Please stay in touch, and look for more regular updates as we get closer to the start of session on January 6th, 2015.

Sincerely,

Rep. Anna Wills
State Representative, District 57B
