Saint Paul, Minnesota – Speaker Paul Thissen and Senate Majority Leader Tom Bakk sent a letter today to House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt and Senate Minority Leader David Hann urging their bipartisan support for a special session on September 9th that would provide disaster relief assistance to the eighteen Minnesota counties included in the federal disaster declaration signed by President Obama as well as a repeal of the farm equipment repair sales tax that went into effect on July 1, 2013.
