2013 Update: Minnetonka schools featured on KSTP

Dear neighbors,

As you have probably heard, this session we passed all-day kindergarten funding for every Minnesota child.  We currently have all-day kindergarten in our local schools, but parents are footing the bill.  KSTP recently highlighted Minnetonka schools in a story on all-day K, and pointed out that Minnetonka families will save $4,100 per student because of this new funding.  I invite you to watch what the impact of optional all-day K will be for students, parents, families and teachers in our community.  The funding will kick in for the 2014-2015 school year.
