ST. PAUL, MN—Rep. Ron Kresha, R-Little Falls, issued the following statement congratulating the 2014 Farm
Families of the Year from District 09B. The Farm Family Recognition Program is coordinated by the University of Minnesota Extension; the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Sciences; and the College of Veterinary Medicine and recognizes families from Minnesota's 87 counties who have made significant contributions to Minnesota agriculture and their communities. The 2014 Farm Family Recognition Program will be held on Thursday, August 07th at Farmfest.
"Farmers are truly the backbone of Minnesota's economy, helping to put food on the table, fuel in our cars, and providing jobs for thousands of Minnesotans," Kresha said. "I want to congratulate Jerry and Jackie Januschka from Morrison County, and Mike Motl and Kim Harff from Todd County on being nominated as the 2014 Farm Families of the Year. It's great to see their dedication and involvement in our local community being recognized."
