News from Representative Daudt 07-15-2014

Tuesday, July 15, 2014
Dear Friends,

I hope your summer is going well, and that you had a great Independence Day. This update will be my last of 2014—state law prohibits legislators from sending mass mailings or email updates such as these after July 15th through November 4th.

I am still able to respond to questions, comments, and other communications, so please don't hesitate to contact my office at rep.kurt.daudt@house.mn, or by calling 651-296-5364 if I can be of assistance.

I want to once again thank you for the privilege of representing our community in St. Paul. Over the last two years, despite total Democrat control of state government, Republicans have stood strong defending hardworking taxpayers. Republicans unanimously opposed $2.1 billion in tax increases, and helped repeal some of the harmful business-to-business taxes passed by Democrats in 2013. We fought against wasteful spending, and halted efforts to restrict your second amendment rights.

I hope you'll keep in touch as summer continues. Be sure to contact me if questions or issues arise and you think I can be of help. I remain committed to being there for you in whatever way possible.

Have a great summer,

Kurt Daudt
House Republican Leader
State Representative, District 31A
