Dear Friends,
I hope your summer is going well. It's been great to be back in the community, hearing from constituents about their thoughts on the 2014 legislative session. I'm grateful to everyone who has contacted me through email or phone call since the end of session to share their comments and concerns.
I wanted to pass along my best wishes for a safe and Happy 4th of July weekend. All across the state this weekend, Minnesotans will gather with friends and family to celebrate our country's independence with fireworks, barbecues, and other festivities.
The 4th of July is a great opportunity to remember and be grateful for the many freedoms we enjoy in the United States. I hope you'll celebrate responsibly and enjoy quality time with friends and family.
