St. Paul—Today, the House Small Business Caucus held their first meeting of the session. The bipartisan caucus will be chaired by Rep. Paul Rosenthal, a small business owner and entrepreneur. Rep. Rosenthal will organize meetings throughout the interim with small businesses across the state to develop ways to economically benefit small and medium sized businesses and to create jobs. The Small Business Caucus will use this information to recommend pro-small business legislation for the 2014 session.
“Small businesses are a crucial part of Minnesota’s economy,” said Rosenthal. “The Small Business Caucus will continue the conversation with our small and medium sized businesses about what helps them to succeed and create more jobs. We will put their ideas into action and work on policies that help these employers to be more economically competitive.”
