Town Hall Meeting Rescheduled

Friday, April 19, 2013

Dear neighbors,

I’m writing to let you know that my town hall meeting on Tuesday has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 5 from 3:00-5:00pm. It will still take place at Bryn Mawr Elementary School, which is located at 252 Upton Avenue South in Minneapolis.

We decided to reschedule the town hall meeting because lawmakers will be on the House floor late into the night on Tuesday debating the House K-12 education omnibus bill, which makes smart investments in our kids to close the achievement gap and make sure all students can obtain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

In order to drum up support for this critical legislation before it hits the House floor on Tuesday, I encourage you to join me, Governor Dayton, Speaker Paul Thissen, and Minnesota legislators for a Pep Rally for Minnesota’s Future.

It’s taking place on Sunday, April 21 at 2:30pm at St. Paul Central High School, located at 275 Lexington Parkway North in St. Paul.

Providing our children with a great education is one of my top legislative priorities. The House DFL K-12 education bill will get the job done. I hope you can join me and our community members for this important event on Sunday.

As always, please contact me with questions or comments about any issue. You can reach me by phone at (651) 296-8659, by email at rep.raymond.dehn@house.mn, or by postal mail at 423 State Office Building, 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55155. I also encourage you to ‘like’ my Facebook page or follow me on Twitter at @RaymondDehn.

Sincerely,
