Dear Friends,
I wanted to send a brief note to wish you and your family a blessed Easter/Passover weekend. This is a time for optimism and a season of hope for Minnesotans of all faiths, and I hope you take some time this weekend to spend time with loved ones and reflect on the many blessings we have here in our great state.
When the legislature returns next Tuesday, there will be less than a month remaining in the 2014 session. Minnesota's Constitution requires all business to be completed by May 19th. In the closing weeks, the legislature is expected to pass a bonding bill, as well as a finalized supplemental budget bill once the House and Senate resolve their differences. I will keep you updated on these and any other important pieces of legislation as session comes to an end.
