ST. PAUL, MN – House Civil Law Committee Chair John Lesch (DFL – St. Paul) established the Data Practices Subcommittee today. The committee will be chaired by Rep. Steve Simon (DFL-St. Louis Park) and include Reps. Mary Liz Holberg (R-Lakeville), Melissa Hortman (DFL-Brooklyn Park), Peggy Scott (R-Andover) and Ryan Winkler (DFL-Golden Valley).
“Data practices and data privacy are big issues this session,” said Rep. Lesch. “The Data Practices Subcommittee will address how state and local government agencies collect and store data.”
