Looking Forward to Serving, Getting the Job Done
To the editor:
After countless ads and mail pieces, debates and political theater, the election is over. Now it’s time to get to the hard work of ending the gridlock and governing. I would like to thank the people of our district for entrusting me to represent you in the Minnesota House. It is an honor to represent you, and I am eager to continue working for you and serving you.
Minnesotans like you spoke loud and clear that you’re tired of the gridlock and expect legislators to work with Governor Dayton and other legislators to find common ground. It’s time for less divisive politics and a renewed focus on the basics: putting middle-class Minnesotans ahead of big special interests.
We have a lot of challenges still facing us, but I’m ready to get to work. Over the next several months, I’ll be holding local meetings to meet with constituents and talk about the issues. Please keep an eye out for those announcements going forward. It was a long election, but our future is bright. It is going to take all of us working together to meet our challenges and I’m confident we can do it. I look forward to making progress and delivering positive results for our district and our state.
