This weekend I well have the unique privilege and opportunity to join a group of legislators and other Minnesota officials to attend the U.S. Navy commissioning ceremony for the USS Minnesota submarine.
The USS Minnesota is the Navy’s newest submarine and is the third vessel to be named for our great state. It's an honor to join the delegation representing our state at the commissioning of this impressive 7,800-ton, 377-foot submarine.

I will be covering my own expenses for this trip, which will come at no cost to taxpayers.
