DEAN ISSUES STATEMENT ON GOVERNOR DAYTON’S BONDING PROPOSAL

Monday, April 8, 2013
SAINT PAUL, MN – After the release of Governor Dayton’s $750 million dollar bonding project list, Representative Matt Dean (R-Dellwood) issued the following statement:

“We have yet to see the entirety of the Democrats’ balanced budget proposal, so it’s disappointing that rather than continuing to focus on the budget, Governor Dayton is seeking to borrow $750 million dollars in a non-bonding year from hardworking taxpayers to pay for wasteful spending.

“Tomorrow, House Democrats are expected to unveil a bonding list that seeks to borrow even more money than proposed by Governor Dayton. This continues a disturbing pattern from Democrats who seem to be competing to see who can raise taxes higher and spend the most money. This is out-of-control government at its worst.”
