The work to put Minnesota back on track continues, and with your help, we can bring reform to government and job growth to our community. Beginning this month, legislative colleagues and I launched our Reform 2.0 initiative, proposing initiatives of our own and seeking input and ideas from the people of Minnesota. This is your state and your government, and we want to hear from you to help make Minnesota the place our citizens want it to be. You can connect with Reform 2.0 on the web at http://reform2.mn, on Facebook at facebook.com/reform2 and via Twitter by following @reform2. Also feel free to send your ideas and questions to me directly. Now is the time to change course for a stronger future. By collaborating and communicating, we can craft the government our state needs and our citizens deserve.
I received tremendous feedback from fellow citizens at Woodbury Days this past weekend, and I appreciated the opportunity to speak with so many constituents. I am also meeting citizens at the State Fair, where I served at the House GOP booth on the opening night of the fair, and will be again tonight and later this week. The discussions with people from all across Minnesota are interesting, engaging and productive. I hope to see you there!
Finally, this week I was privileged to earn a 100% legislative rating from Minnesota Majority and a top score from the Minnesota Taxpayers League. These reflect my commitment to our community and the priorities to control state spending, prevent tax increases and develop policy to boost Minnesota's economy. More important than these groups' ratings, however, is the positive feedback I continue to receive from citizens of our community. It is a privilege to bring your voice to the Capitol and work to further the priorities of our people.
Until next time,
