Rep. Kelly Fenton Encourages Minnesotans to Visit Traveling Replica of Vietnam Veterans Memorial at State Capitol June 21-24

Friday, June 15, 2018

SAINT PAUL, Minn— Rep. Kelly Fenton, R-Woodbury, is encouraging Minnesotans to come to the Capitol and visit the Wall that Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. The wall will be at the Capitol June 21-June 24, and there will be a number of events including an opening ceremony, a daily reading of the names of Minnesota’s fallen, museum exhibits, film screenings, a mobile education center, and more.

“This wonderful event will give Minnesotans a chance to honor our veterans and learn more about the Vietnam War,” said Rep. Fenton. “As we remember our veterans, including those brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, I would encourage people to come down to St. Paul and take part in this four-day event.”

The wall will be open 24 hours a day. You can learn more about the Wall that Heals Event at www.mnvietnam.org/thewallthatheals/.
