SAINT PAUL, MN – On Thursday, Rep. Sandy Layman, R-Cohasset, met with fifth grade students from St. Joseph’s School in Grand Rapids. Rep. Layman previously met with Katherine Johnson’s fifth grade class prior to the start of the legislative session. The students then wrote letters regarding issues important to them and hand-delivered them on their visit to St. Paul.
“Thank you to these bright young students for taking the time to write to me, and for coming to visit in St. Paul,” said Layman. “These young learners were full of great questions when I visited them in their classroom and I thoroughly enjoyed hosting them at the Capitol on Thursday! It’s so encouraging to see students take an interest in their state government and to advocate for causes they think are most important.”
