Rep. Quam and Convention of States Leaders to hold press conference before rally to discuss the movement
WHO: Rep. Duane Quam (R-Byron); along with Mark Meckler a founder of the modern-day Tea Party.
WHAT: A press conference to discuss the push by Rep. Quam and fourteen House coauthors of HF2690 a bill asking Congress to call a Convention of States as outlined in Article V of the US Constitution. A rally supporting the calling of a Convention will take place later in the day and Rep. Quam will be joined by two of the leading voices supporting this movement nation-wide at the press conference to discuss the goals and answer questions.
