Roseau, MINN—Rep. Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, is congratulating the Greenbush-Middle River Robotics team for their first place finish in the Great Northern Regional First Robotics competition last Saturday.
“What an accomplishment by the Greenbush-Middle River Robotics Team! I want to congratulate them on their outstanding win on Saturday,” said Rep. Fabian. “Not only did they do a great job representing their community, but these students also are demonstrating the importance of a strong STEM education. Way to go!”
For their first place win in the regional competition, Rep. Fabian plans to present the students from Greenbush-Middle River with a Minnesota House of Representatives Resolution.
Rep. Fabian, who attended the competition last week, also saw a number of other outstanding accomplishments by local student teams. Mary and Russ Anderson of Greenbush-Middle River won “Volunteers of the Year,” Warroad won the Judges Award, and Badger was a regional finalist.
“Congratulations to Warroad and Badger on their recognitions, as well as a special shout out to Thief River Falls and Stephen/Argyle on their excellent showing. It was a great job by all the teams,” added Rep. Fabian. “You’ve made your communities very proud!”
