Dear Neighbor,
I want to let people in our district know the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council is sponsoring a "Be Ready for B20" workshop in Moorhead on March 14 (8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1080 28th Ave. S.)
This workshop is one of a dozen organizers are conducting throughout the state in coming weeks. The stated goal is to “help the industry prepare for the step up to the requirement for 20% biodiesel content on May 1st, and understand the benefits of the fuel and how it will impact fuel providers and end users.”
I urge people from our area to attend the Moorhead workshop to share their thoughts. Industry leaders and representatives from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the Department of Commerce Weights & Measures Division will be there to hear your message in person.
