I’m glad we have been able to welcome our out of state visitors to Minnesota for the Super Bowl with the full force of Minnesota “the air hurts my face” cold. Despite the cold, it sounds like people are having a great time taking in everything the Twin Cities has to offer and we may get some repeat visitors in the future.
Special Joint Town Hall on Saturday!
This month's town hall will be a special joint event with Majority Leader Joyce Peppin, Senator Warren Limmer, and myself. It will take place tomorrow, Saturday, February 3rd at 9:00 AM at the Maple Grove Community Center, Room 133. All residents are welcome to come share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas for the upcoming session.
Caucuses on Tuesday
Precinct Caucuses, the official start of the 2018 election cycle, are held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm in communities across the entire state of Minnesota. You can find your caucus location here at the Secretary of State’s website. http://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us/

Osseo Robotics Team in State Championship
The “Terrorbytes” a robotics team from Osseo has made it to the Minnesota State Championship for Robotics. They will be competing with teams from around the state this weekend. Good luck Terrorbytes!

Super Bowl Weekend in Maple Grove
Tomorrow, Saturday, February 3rd, Wonders of Winter will take place at Central Park from 11am-3p. Enjoy snowshoeing, sledding, wagon rides, s'mores and more for the whole family. Hope you and your family can take in all the festivities.
Maple Grove Polar Plunge
Next Saturday, February 3rd, is the Maple Grove Polar Plunge. It will take place at Fish Lake Regional Park with check-in beginning at 11:00 AM and plunges at 1:00 PM. I hope to be there in support of a great cause. For more information, click here.
