Maple Grove Family New Years Eve!
Celebrate the New Years with an event for the entire family at the Maple Grove Community Center. Balloons will drop at 5:45 pm, early enough for everyone to get to bed on time! Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. Details here.
Meeting with Local Business Owners
This week I met with the owners of Plato's Closet here in Maple Grove as well a few other businesses to discuss how the business climate has improved in Minnesota over the last few years and what we can do to continue that improvement. These businesses not only provide valuable services to our community but also employ many people. I love having the opportunity to sit down and discuss issues with constituents and hear what they think we can do to improve our state.

Feedback Requested: Osseo Superintendent Search
The Osseo School Board is requesting input from parents, guardians, students, and staff on what stakeholders think are the most important qualities to replace the retiring superintendent at the end of this school year. Feedback can be given at community meetings, details can be viewed here, or by completing an online survey or sending an email to welisten@district279.org by January 25. I always appreciate the feedback and ideas you give to me and now is your chance to weigh in on the next leaders of our local schools.
