I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season and a blessed New Year!
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or just enjoy the season, I hope you are able to spend quality time with the ones you love, creating fond memories, sharing delicious food and celebrating with cherished traditions. Also, if you’re traveling to visit family and friends over the holidays, safe travels!

Beautiful evening at the Ramsey Tree Lighting! Mayor Sarah Strommen said a few words, and Local Girl Scout Troop 16749 helped light the tree. If you haven't yet, be sure to drive by and take a look at the beautiful Christmas trees brightening the City Halls of both Anoka and Ramsey!

Diaper & Wipe Drive for Abba Pregnancy Center & Anoka Community Mission
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Diaper Drive for the Abba Pregnancy Resource Center and Anoka Community Mission. It was a great drive to help families this holiday season and support life. I am so thankful to live in and represent a community with generous neighbors willing to help one another!
I went to drop off the donations last week, and you can watch a short video about it here.
During this time of year, it is so easy to caught up in the "doing" and easy to forget the reason for the season - the greatest gift in all recorded history came to earth, and I love that this season we remember that and give gifts, give of our time, and simply -- live generously.
