The holidays are fast approaching, and I wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you are able to spend the holidays celebrating with loved ones and enjoying the holiday season. Also, if you’re traveling over the next couple of weeks, please be safe out there!
I would also like to take a moment to share all that I am grateful for this holiday season including my family and our wonderful community. It is an honor and privilege to represent you at the Capitol in St. Paul! Remember that doing a good deed is the greatest gift you can give someone over the holidays, and best of all, it will only cost you your time.
Wreaths Across America Wreath Presentation to the Legislature
On Thursday, December 14, 2017, Col James Garlough of the MN Civil Air Patrol Wing Commander, presented a wreath to the State of Minnesota. I attended along with my colleagues including, from left to right in the attached photo are Sen. Paul Gazelka, Rep. Regina Barr, Rep. Joyce Peppin, Majority Leader of the MN House of Representatives, myself, and Speaker Kurt Daudt.
With the new year approaching, the next legislative session will kick off in February.
