From the Dettmer Family to yours, I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful holiday tomorrow, enjoying some delicious food and spending quality time with loved ones.
At this time of year, I like to take time and reflect on the many things for which I am thankful including my family, the brave men and women who protect our nation both at home and overseas, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, and the privilege of being able to represent the people and priorities of our community in Saint Paul. It is an honor to work for you at the Capitol!

Below are some highlights of different events around our community and state over the last few weeks.
I was the keynote speaker at the Allied Charities Banquet in St. Cloud. Thanks to the more than 600 who came to the event!
On November 11, I attended the State of Minnesota Veterans Day event at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights.
With Richard Gwynn from VFW Post 1782 at the White Bear Lake Memorial dedication on Veterans Day where we were both guest speakers.
