St. Paul Rep. Peggy Scott (R Andover) today announced her upcoming Legislative Listening Sessions.
The first meeting will take place on Saturday, February 21 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It will be held in the Andover City Council Chambers. Scott said this session will focus on local issues and how the budget deficit will affect them.
This is a great opportunity for the people of our district to talk with me about concerns or questions they may have on the Legislative process, said Scott. It gives us the chance to sit down together and discuss some ideas. I welcome and encourage everyone to try and attend this town hall meeting.
Another Legislative Listening Session with a bipartisan group of Legislative Leaders from the House and Senate will meet on Thursday, February 26 at 7p.m. at the Coon Rapids City Hall, located at 11155 Robinson Dr. This session will be a chance for people to discuss the budget proposal put forth by Governor Pawlenty.
