Dear Friends,

The reconstruction of the Highway 52/County Road 42 interchange in Rosemount is now complete. The new configuration will help improve traffic flow and safety!

Elections/Voting

A FEW EVENTS COMING UP IN OUR COMMUNITY:

Oktoberfest

The second annual Oktoberfest presented by the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce is taking place today, September 29th, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Kelley Park. There will be live music and a variety of food and beverages available for purchase. Admission is FREE!

Click here for further event information.

Warrior 196 Memorial 5K

The Warrior 196 Memorial 5K will be held tomorrow, September 30th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastview High School. Established in 2013, the Warrior 196 Leadership Foundation has been able to provide nearly $20,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors who attended either Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, or Eastview High Schools. These scholarships honor five ISD 196 alumni who gave their lives fighting overseas: Nathanael Doring (AVHS/1993), Daniel Olsen (EHS/2005), Benjamin Kopp (RHS/2006), Christopher Goeke (AVHS/2004), and Andrew Wilfahrt (RHS/1997).

Rosemount Fire Department Open House

The Rosemount Fire Department will be hosting residents at its annual open house during Fire Prevention Month on Sunday, October 15th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Fire Station No. 1 (14700 Shannon Pkwy.). Stay tuned for details for the open houses at all three Apple Valley Fire Departments as well!

Interim Appointments

If you would like to meet with me to ask any questions or discuss a particular issue, my meetings will be held in-district during these months before next year’s session. Simply use the same contact information for my office below, and we will find a time and place to meet in our community, instead of traveling all the way to Saint Paul!

Keep in Touch

As always, please don't hesitate to contact me with your comments, questions, and concerns. Email me any time at rep.anna.wills@house.mn or call 651-296-4306. You can also follow my updates on Facebook at www.facebook.com/repannawills and Twitter at https://twitter.com/annacwills.
