WHAT: Lueck invited fellow members of the committee to visit the Hill City Connector Trail ATV site to receive information regarding a bonding proposal. The Hill City Connector Trail is part of the Northwoods Regional ATV Trail System in Aitkin County. Lueck has submitted a $1.5 bonding request to add a 58 miles of ATV trail called the Mille Lacs-Malmo East Loop ATV trail to the Northwoods Regional ATV Trail System. The new trail would be located on the east side of Mille Lacs Lake, branching off to the north from the South Soo Line ATV Trail and providing a scenic trail connection between the communities of Glen, Malmo and Isle. Lueck said the Hill City Connector Trail is an excellent example of what is possible with respect to expanding the Northwoods Regional ATV Trail System.
