Dear Neighbors,
As you've probably heard, South Washington County Schools recently sent out students' personal information in the form of a mass email. This included student names, bus routes, contact information, and more. This is extremely concerning, and I - like many parents - am disappointed in the handling of this sensitive information. We need to know that our schools are doing everything they can to keep our kids safe, and in this instance, South Washington County Schools fell short.
I’ve been in contact with Superintendent Jacobus and a number of school board members and have relayed my concerns. I'll continue to monitor this situation, and am free if you need to call or email my office with questions. If I learn more, I'll be sure to keep you updated.
