A full weekend of entertainment and events at the People’s House will take place August 11-13
ST. PAUL, MN— Representative Kelly Fenton, R-Woodbury, is encouraging families, constituents and Minnesotans to attend the Minnesota State Capitol Grand Opening Celebration August 11-13 in Saint Paul. The event is a celebration of the completion of a four year restoration and renovation of Minnesota’s historic State Capitol building.
“The restoration of Minnesota’s State Capitol is truly spectacular, and I hope Woodbury residents of all ages will come down to Saint Paul and celebrate the grand re-opening of the People’s House,” said Rep. Fenton. “There are events for kids, families and adults including Capitol tours, fireworks, a beer garden, yoga and so much more. I hope you will come down and celebrate our Capitol building with Minnesotans from across the state!”
Events over the weekend include a ribbon cutting, tours, hotdish panels, live performances, a kid zone, fireworks, an ice cream social, a craft beer garden, and much more.
