Dear Friends,
I hope you've been having a great summer so far. It's been nice to spend some time at the lake, and I'm looking forward to some fun 4th of July festivities.
July 1st marks the effective date of a number of laws passed this session including our historic investment into roads and bridges as well as education. And on July 2nd Minnesotans will have to opportunity to purchase alcohol at our local liquor stores on a Sunday for the first time in state history!
I wanted to pass along my best wishes for a safe and happy 4th of July, and hope you're able to spend some time with family celebrating Independence Day with cookouts, fireworks, and more at community events planned across the state.
