ST. PAUL, MN – Rep. Jeff Backer (R-Browns Valley) met with Liberty Sleiter and Rebecca Young of Stevens County along with Amy Weir and Pamela Rud of Big Stone County at the Capitol to discuss a bill that would have negatively affected PrimeWest Health. Rep. Backer introduced counter legislation to protect PrimeWest and other similar organizations.
PrimeWest Health is a county-based health plan network operated by 13 rural Minnesota Counties that provide service to residents in Traverse, Big Stone, Stevens, Grant, Douglas and Pope County.
