Greetings, friends and neighbors,

We are in a busy part of session, but I wanted to pass along a quick update.

It is deadline week and many bills that have policy language changes must be heard by this coming Friday. I am having many of my bills heard that are important to our district. I’m carrying legislation relating to Pact 4 Families, summer school for Prairie Lakes School, limiting opioid prescriptions to new patients, child care business start-up grants, broadband funding, New London and Spicer local option sales tax, chemical treatment center funding, and home and community based workforce issues.

As usual I will be on KWLM radio 11am every Saturday talking about issues of the week, or whatever callers need to discuss.

And finally, our Robbins Island Playground is entering our final phase. Playground work is being finalized, play components are being ordered and volunteer lists need filling. We start building this 20,000 square foot playground in May and we need your support. For more information click here

Until next week!

Dave
