SAINT PAUL, MN – Rep. Sarah Anderson, R-Plymouth, Chair of the House State Government Finance Committee, issued the following statement regarding the appointment by Governor Dayton of Kathleen Blatz as Interim Chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Commission.
“This appointment is a good step forward toward fixing the problems with the management of the MSFA. I have immense respect for former Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court Kathleen Blatz and believe she will be a partner in reforming how the MSFA operates. Minnesotans deserve transparency and accountability so the breaches of public trust by the MSFA board are not repeated.”
