ST. PAUL, Minn.— Representative Dan Fabian (R-Roseau), Chair of the House Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, released the following statement regarding President Donald Trump’s Executive Orders related to pipelines and expediting environmental reviews.
“Pipelines are a proven and safe way to transport oil and natural gas, and we’ve seen too many of these critical pipeline projects blocked in Minnesota because of burdensome overregulation and bureaucratic roadblocks put in place by government. Executive action at the federal level today gives our state a big economic opportunity going forward to build more pipelines, create more good-paying jobs and generate property tax revenue for communities throughout Minnesota.”
