RELEASE: Representative Scott Sworn-in as State Representative

SAINT PAUL, MN— State Rep. Peggy Scott, R-Andover, was officially sworn in to her fifth term as a state representative on Tuesday, January 3, after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. Scott will continue to represent House District 35B – encompassing the cities of Andover and parts of Ramsey and Coon Rapids – at the Capitol in St. Paul.

“This is an important time for our state, and we have a tall task this session to provide tax relief and improve our healthcare system,” said Scott. “I look forward to interacting with my neighbors and constituents to better represent the people of 35B.”

Scott, who was re-elected to her fifth term this past November, will serve as chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee. She will also serve on the Education Finance and Job Growth and Energy Affordability Committees.
