ST. PAUL, MN – Steve Green (R-Fosston) took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday, January 3, 2017 during the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.
Green was elected to his third term in November to represent District 2B, which encompasses all of Mahnomen and portions of Becker, Clearwater, Hubbard, Otter Tail, and Wadena counties. Green is serving on the Agriculture Finance, Environment & Natural Resources Policy and Finance, Legacy Funding Finance, and State Government Finance committees.
“I am excited to be serving our community again,” said Green. “While today was a day of ceremony, it was also a reminder of the work we have to do for rural Minnesota this session; I am ready to get started again.”
Green lives with his family in Fosston.
