RELEASE: Peterson Takes Oath of Office

ST. PAUL, MN – Roz Peterson (R-Lakeville) took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday, January 3, 2017 during the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.

Peterson was elected to her second term in November to represent District 56B, which encompasses portions of Lakeville and Burnsville. Peterson is serving on the Education Finance, Government Operations & Elections, and Health & Human Services Reform committees. Peterson is also serving as Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Child Care Access & Affordability.

“I am thrilled to be back working for the people of Lakeville and Burnsville,” said Peterson. “I look forward to a productive session working towards bipartisan solutions to issues plaguing our state.”

Peterson is a small business owner. She lives with her family in Lakeville.
