ST. PAUL, MN – Randy Jessup (R-Shoreview) took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday, January 3, 2017 during the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.
Jessup was elected to his first term in November to represent District 42A, which encompasses Mounds View, Arden Hills, and portions of Shoreview and Spring Lake Park. Jessup is serving on the Education Innovation Policy, Government Operations & Elections Policy, and Higher Education & Career Readiness Policy and Finance committees.
“It’s been a very exciting and busy first day at the Capitol,” said Jessup. “I am honored to be serving our community and I look forward to representing our values.” Jessup continued, “I encourage folks to reach out to me to let me know their thoughts on issues.”
Jessup is a small business owner and lives with his family in Shoreview.
