LUECK TAKES SECOND OATH OF OFFICE

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dale Lueck, R-Aitkin, performed the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday for a second time as the 90th Legislature convened at the Capitol in St. Paul.

Lueck was re-elected in November to represent District 10B, which encompasses Aitkin County and the eastern portion of Crow Wing. He is continuing to serve as vice chairman of the Mining, Forestry and Tourism Committee. Lueck also is a member of Agriculture Policy, Veterans Affairs Division, Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance, and Capital Investment committees.

“It is an honor to continue serving the people of 10B and I am eager to get back to work and dig into the many issues we face,” Lueck said. “The primary work for this session is passing the next two-year state budget, but we also must find ways to reverse the extreme damage our health insurance system has sustained, provide tax relief and deal with long-term transportation funding.”

Lueck said he encourages local citizens to in District 10B to contact his legislative office this session by calling (651) 296-2365 or by emailing rep.dale.lueck@house.mn. Lueck also provides periodic email updates and citizens can sign up to receive them at his official state website: www.house.mn/10B.
