ST. PAUL -- January 3, 2017 marked the beginning of the 90th session of the Minnesota House of Representatives. The 2017-2018 session is State Representative Tony Cornish’s (R-Vernon Center) eighth term in the Minnesota House.
“The swearing-in ceremony allows you to reflect on your gratefulness to the voters for giving you the opportunity while anticipating the legislative challenges ahead,” Cornish said. “It remains such an honor to represent the residents of District 23B.”
This session, Cornish will serve as chairman of the Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance and Ways and Means committees.
